What a score is, how the routine is built, and what happens to your photos.
What a score is
Each metric is a 0 to 100 estimate from your photo. Every metric carries a tag: model-scored when the model read it directly, estimated when it was inferred from related metrics. “Not assessable in this photo” means the light, angle or crop did not allow a reading; retake rather than guess.
How the routine is built
Rules reviewed per area map findings and skin type to step types, then products are matched to those steps. The pregnancy filter excludes products that name a known contraindicated active; it does not certify the rest.
Photo handling
Photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are kept so the compare view works across scans, and deleted when you delete them or your account. They are never used to train models and never sold.
The review process
Scoring rules and routine logic are reviewed by our team, including clinicians who have agreed to be involved. We name people only with their written consent.
Scores are estimates from your photo, not a medical diagnosis. See a doctor about anything that worries you.
